Bob Harvey, President / CEO Bob Harvey is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with degrees in Industrial Relations and History. Bob has been involved with the dictation and transcription industry since 1982, when he worked for Lanier Worldwide. As a Lanier district manager, Bob was recognized for several accomplishments: Five times Gold Primus winner, District Manager of the Year, and also led the Greensboro, North Carolina, district to the coveted Quality Award, which recognized the top five Lanier operations in the world. In February 2000, Bob assumed the role of President of TRS after the death of his wife, Mary, who had begun the company. Bob is an executive board member of the Medical Transcription Industry Association and an outspoken supporter of integrity in billing practices. As a spirited supporter of AHDI, Bob and his TRS Institute team have been very involved in this organization as well by subscribing to many of its business practices and pursuit of quality standards.

Peter Reilly, Chief Operating Officer Peter Reilly joined TRS in 2006 as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development. Peter oversees TRS's growth and market positioning, including the development of strategic partnerships and alliances. A veteran of the healthcare and technology industries, Peter brings more than 20 years of experience in business strategy development, sales and marketing to this role. Most recently, he served as Business Development Manager for BearingPoint's Healthcare Practice, where he was responsible for the company's business development efforts in the Northeast. He has also served in a variety of sales, marketing and business development positions with a number of Internet start-ups and held various sales, sales training and sales management positions at Lanier Worldwide, Inc., where he worked for 11 years. Peter received his bachelor's degree from Boston College. Peter currently resides in Boston with his wife and three children.

Vikki Anderson, Vice President of Support Services Vikki Anderson, CPA, earned her Bachelors degree in Accounting from UNC Greensboro in 1999. After finishing her Masters of Science in Accounting at UNC Greensboro in 2000, Vikki worked for two years as a public accountant for McGladery and Pullen, LLP. Subsequently, she worked for four years as the accounting manager at Forman Rossabi Black. With this extensive experience in accounting and finance, she was the perfect fit for the TRSi team. In 2007, she joined TRSi and now works as the Vice President of Support Services. Vikki oversees all financial aspects of TRS Institute and adds much wisdom to decisions that are made. She is a member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and lives with her husband and daughter in Greensboro, NC.

Scott Bailey, Vice President of Information Technology Scott Bailey joined the TRS Team in 2002, assuming leadership for the technology division of the company. Scott brought to TRS 19 years of working with Lanier Worldwide as a fields system engineer, providing customer service and sales to their customers. Scott received the Council of Excellence award, for top sales of supplies and service contracts, three times during his time with Lanier. He also was a three time "Phase III Finalist," a Lanier service testing award on electronics and product knowledge. In 2003, Scott was awarded with System Administrator of the Year award from Interfix, LLC, for his outstanding knowledge and use of the Interfix application to serve TRS customers. Scott lives in High Point, North Carolina, with his wife and son.

Sarah Steffes, Director of Program Delivery Sarah Steffes earned her Bachelor degree in Organizational Leadership and Masters degree in Management from Southern Nazarene University. Sarah’s healthcare career began in Medical Records as a file clerk in 1988. She later worked in the Emergency Registration and Admissions departments, and then medical transcription. Sarah became the Director of Transcription Services in 2002 for a medical services company. As an adjunct professor of medical transcription at a local community college, Sarah became interested in the training and development of Medical Transcriptionists. Sarah joined TRS Institute in the Fall of 2008. She has attended numerous AHDI, AHIMA and MTIA conventions since 2003. Sarah also serves on the Advisory Council for the YMCA and the Board of Directors of Specialized Outpatient Services, both local non-profits. Sarah lives in Oklahoma City, OK with her husband and two boys. |

Kristin Hagen, Director of Curriculum Development Kristin began her career transcribing multispecialty and acute care reports, graduating from an approved school, prior to starting her own business. Kristin previously served as Utah-Idaho’s delegate and Lead Team delegate for the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI). She is an active member in the Legislative Issues Group and past chair of the Sustainable Structure Task Force. Kristin served as a contributor to Quality Assessment and Management Best Practices and Privacy, Security, Compliance and Ethical Best Practices. She earned her fellowship designation for AHDI in 2008. Kristin is credentialed as a Certified Professional in Health Information Technology, Electronic Health Records, and Health Information Exchange. She maintains professional memberships with Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI), American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Idaho Medical Group Management Association (IMGMA), and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Kristin was elected to the AHDI Board of Directors in 2009 and currently serves as Secretary. She also participates as a volunteer stakeholder on the Washington-Idaho Regional Extension Center (WIREC). Kristin is married to husband, Troy, and resides in Boise, Idaho with their 3 boys. She enjoys, camping, hiking, bicycling, jogging, listening to music, and traveling. |
