Medical transcription is a great opportunity for the military spouse. Imagine having a job in a profession that is portable. No more having to uproot your career and seek another position when your spouse's transfer comes through! With the technology of today and the work-at-home opportunities, the military spouse can now take his or her job no matter where stationed. Funding for Military Spouses

 

There are several options available to you when choosing TRSi as your medical transcription school. These options include payment in full via check, money order, debit,credit card or PayPal. We know that each prospective student may have a different financial situation, so we want to make it as easy as possible for you to fund your tuition.

TRSi utilizes the secure services of PayPal to process tuition payments via a Virtual Terminal located inside our offices. We also accept payments via the TRSi website at the home and store pages. If you purchase items from the online store you can choose to pay with your Visa, Mastercard, AMEX or Discover card directly, or you can pay with your existing PayPal account. TRSi can also setup an account to automatically draft monthly tuition payments ("recurring payments"). You will be asked to provide a valid debit card, credit card or bank account to be associated with your account in order to process the monthly payments. What are Career Advancement Accounts?

Career Advancement Account (CAA) funds help eligible military spouses pay for career training and certification through approved schools like TRS Institute. The program is administered by the Department of Defense through the Military OneSource MyCAA Web site.

Who is eligible for a CAA funds?

Military spouses of active duty and activated Guard and Reserve service members worldwide can receive up to $6,000 of financial assistance to pay for education in high growth, high demand and portable career fields like medical transcription. If you are interested in enrolling with TRSi, your first step would be to take the free online screening exam. Once you have passed the exam, TRSi will work with you to get your CAA funds if you are eligible to receive them.
