Speech Recognition Editing (SRT) Program
Computer: Pentium-class PC with 1.7 Ghz processor, 40+ MB of hard drive space, 1GB RAM.
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (Home may work but is not supported), Vista (32 and 64 Bit), Microsoft.Net Framework ver 2.0.
*Note: Not MAC Compatible* .
Other Requirements : Microsoft Word 2003 or 2007, High Speed Internet access,
Sound: SoundBlaster-compatible, 16-bit or higher, sound card. Speakers with headset jack recommended but optional since headset can be plugged directly into the sound card in most cases.
Headset: Compatable with your sound card or USB version
Foot pedal: Foot Pedal (Use of a foot pedal is optional, but recommended.)
*Three specific foot pedals are compatible with the 3M SRT software used in the course. Check your foot pedal carefully for confirmation that is is one of these:

        • Infinity IN-USB-1 (recommended)

        • Infinity IN-USB-2

        • Infinity IN-765 with Dictaphone USB adapter

        • DynamicVOICE game port foot pedal with Rockfire USB adapter
