Basic Medical Transcription/Speech Recognition Editing Training Program
The TRSi Basic Medical Transcription Training Program is designed for an individual with no prior medical training who is looking to work in a clinic or physician office setting where on-the-job training is readily available. The Basic Training Program includes semesters 1 through 4 of our program, including an Introduction to Speech Recognition Editing but does not include Semester 5 (The Practicum), the RMT prep course or actual speech recognition editing practice on 3M’s Chartscript.com system. Students enrolled in our Basic Training Program can upgrade to the Advanced Training Program at any time. At the end of this program, a certificate for completing the Basic Training Program is earned. The Basic Training Program does not include any post-graduate support. Advanced Medical Transcription/Speech Recognition Editing Training Program
Our Advanced Training Program is designed for an individual interested in pursuing a work – from – home position transcribing acute care (hospital) work. The Advanced Program includes Semesters 1-4, our highly regarded Practicum, our Speech Recognition Editing Training (including speech recognition editing practice on 3M’s Chartscript.com system), and the RMT Prep course. Upon program completion, a certificate of completion is earned and support is offered to our graduates to help secure employment. Students enrolled in our Advanced Training Program can upgrade to the Premier Training Program at any time.

Premier Medical Transcription/Speech Recognition Editing Training Program
Our Premier Training Program is our most comprehensive program. Included in the course fee are all the elements of the Advanced Training Program, a second year subscription to Knowledgebase, access to all of our specialty courses (one course at a time), Angel access to attend continuing education sessions, and the RMT Exam fee. This program is designed for individuals who are interested in working from home transcribing acute care (hospital) work and desire access to continuing education opportunities.

Funding Options
Option 1 - Pay Upfront Plan
The pay upfront program offers a discount off the standard cost of our program for those individuals who are willing to pay upfront for their education. Discounts range from $100 - $200* depending on program selected.
Option 2 – Monthly Payment Plan
The monthly payment plan program includes a $495.00 down payment with the remainder of your payments made over 12 or 18 months. Monthly payments range from $125 - $225* per month depending on the program selected. There is no finance charge applied to this option. Payments are automatically deducted from your credit card or bank account.
Option 3 – Pay As You Go Plan
The pay as you go option allows students to make payments as they progress through each section of our program. This option includes a $495.00 down payment with 3 or 4 section payments which range from $510.00 - $635.00* depending on the program selected. Payments can be setup to be automatically deducted from your credit card or bank account or the student can make payments manually before the start of each section.
Option 4 – Tough Times Scholarship Program
The Tough Times Scholarship Program allows each student to make a small down payment ($295) and a static tuition payment of $210.00 each month until they graduate. The Tough Times Scholarship Program rewards students who can accelerate their studies by offering an opportunity to reduce their tuition costs. Contact our Admissions Coordinators for more details.
Special Notes:
TRSi utilizes the secure services of PayPal to process tuition payments via a Virtual Terminal located inside our offices as well as accepts payments made from the TRSi online store and home page. If you purchase items from the online store you can choose to pay with your Visa, Mastercard, AMEX or Discover card directly, or you can pay with your existing PayPal account. TRSi can automatically draft monthly tuition payments ("recurring payments") from a specified account.
