Medical Transcription School In the Caribbean

In May 2005, TRS became involved with an opportunity for development of people in the country of Trinidad and Tobago. Through a partnership with Interfix Corporation in Atlanta and Evolving Technologies in Trinidad, a training program has been established for medical transcription training.

In September 2005, a second opportunity arose to administer a similar training program in the country of Guyana. This program is in partnership with Interfix Corporation and Decipher International, in Guyana.

It is our desire to develop people who want to increase their education and improve their lives. The Caribbean has proven to be an ideal location for this type of training because English is their primary language, technologies exist for them to develop the infrastructure to support medical transcription service organizations, and there is a desire among the people to learn the profession.

We continue to seek additional opportunities to take the development of medical transcriptionists wherever the desire exists.

In addition to developing people, these training programs allow us to be sure that the training quality being done in these environments is top notch and can produce medical transcriptionists who are ready to meet the high demand for quality healthcare documentation.
